Terms of Service
Last updated: July 15, 2026
These Terms describe how you may use Dual-Forge during Open Beta. Please review these Terms together with the Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance
By using Dual-Forge or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Open Beta
Dual-Forge is currently in Open Beta. Features, interfaces, and the underlying storage architecture may change. You may encounter bugs, temporary interruptions, or issues that affect habit data. Access to any particular feature is not guaranteed permanently.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Dual-Forge. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or guardian where required by law. Users under 13 may not create accounts.
4. Accounts and security
You agree to:
- Use an email address that you are authorized to access.
- Keep your password secure.
- Not share your password, confirmation codes, active sessions, or password-reset links with anyone else.
- Notify Dual-Forge Support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Dual-Forge may limit or suspend access for abuse, fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, or violations of these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Dual-Forge for unlawful purposes.
- Attack or attempt to disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Bypass authentication or security controls.
- Engage in automated abuse or destructive scraping.
- Create fraudulent accounts or impersonate another person.
- Upload or transmit malware.
- Interfere with other users' use of the service.
- Exploit vulnerabilities instead of reporting them.
- Use the service to harass or intentionally harm others.
- Reverse engineer the service where prohibited by applicable law.
6. Habit information and personal responsibility
You choose the habits and goals you track. Your check-ins reflect actions you record. Public community totals represent aggregate activity inside Dual-Forge and are not an independent verification of real-world behavior. You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions outside the service.
7. No medical or professional advice
Dual-Forge is a personal habit-tracking tool. It does not provide medical, mental-health, addiction-treatment, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional.
Dual-Forge does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition. If you need help, please contact an appropriately qualified professional.
8. Local storage and data limitations
During Open Beta, habit data is generally stored in your browser. As a result:
- Clearing your browser data may erase locally stored habits.
- Changing browsers or devices may not restore those habits.
- Creating an account does not guarantee complete cloud backup of habit data.
- Deleting your Dual-Forge account may not automatically remove data stored locally in your browser.
Please consider these limitations when deciding what information to store in Dual-Forge.
9. Intellectual property
The Dual-Forge name, branding, design, code, and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
10. Feedback
If you send suggestions, ideas, or feedback about Dual-Forge, you allow Dual-Forge to use that product feedback to improve the service, without any obligation to compensate you. This does not affect your rights in unrelated intellectual property you own.
11. Third-party services
Dual-Forge relies on third-party providers for authentication, database, email delivery, and hosting. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices, and Dual-Forge cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability.
If you sign in using a third-party provider such as Google, that provider's terms and privacy policy also apply to their part of the sign-in flow.
12. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
Dual-Forge may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abuse, fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, or if the service is discontinued.
Self-service account deletion is not yet available inside the app. You can request deletion of your Dual-Forge account through Get Support. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your information on deletion.
13. Disclaimers
Dual-Forge is provided during Open Beta on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Dual-Forge does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, permanent retention of any data, preservation of streaks, backups of habit data, compatibility with every device, specific outcomes, or that any particular habit goal will succeed.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dual-Forge and Mark Harris Media are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost streaks, or lost goodwill, arising from your use of Dual-Forge during Open Beta. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
16. Changes to these Terms
Dual-Forge may update these Terms as the Open Beta develops. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
